Location
Parking
- Free parking (outdoor)
There is some parking at the road side but it can get busier in the evenings so often we advise use of the car park behind the property which is free. There is a lane that takes you to and from the car park via the back of the property on foot so very easy.
Nearby
The apartment is ideally situated by the beach (there’s direct access across the road) with the Railway Inn and the Crusoe Hotel a few doors down.
The excellent Aurrie cafe is also a few minutes walking distance the other way.
Around 30 minutes walk are the Old Manor Hotel to the south and Upper Largo hotel to the north which both do meals, drinks and coffee.
Lower Largo is situated on Largo Bay and is an ancient fishing village. It is well known for its wide variety of charming cottages, houses, pretty harbour and beach. You can also find the statue of Robinson Crusoe and learn about the local man Alexander Selkirk who inspired the story.
Further afield you can find the many cafes, farm shops, restaurants, activities and excursions of the East Neuk such as Elie, St Monans, Pitenweem and Anstruther all 15-30 mins away.
The draw of St Andrews is also only 25 minutes away on a more direct road to experience the home of golf and all the other amenities on offer in this charming university town.
